For once, character unlocks are easy!
If you’ve just downloaded the final installment of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3’s DLC you might be wondering — when do I unlock the Fantastic 4?
Fortunately, the famous foursome unlock after the first level in the expanded story!
Past DLC have had new characters locked behind the Guantlet and Danger Room modes. Here, there is an expanded story option available to any save file that has beat Chapter 10. You’ll be sent back to Wakanda with a team of your choosing and after you beat that level–and your first encounter with Doctor Doom himself–you’ll encounter the Fantastic 4 all together.
They play largely as you would expect: two bruisers in Mr. Fantastic and Thing, a ranged elemental attacker in the Human Torch, and a Magneto/Jean Grey crossover type in the Invisible Woman.
