Deadpool brings friends to Fortnite
X-Force tag alongs include Cable, Domino, and Psylocke.
The merc with a mouth continues his pop culture dominance with his appearance in the Chapter 2 – Season 2 Battle Pass. Now, the gun toting assassin isn’t just unmasking, he’s bringing along pals, at least as new in game skins.
Most of the line-up has been seeing appearances in non-comics media of late. Psylocke–a psychic blade wielder–appeared in X-Men: Apocalypse while both Domino and Cable made appearances in the hard-R Deadpool 2, as a luck altering mercenary and a futuristic cyborg, respectively.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 hasn’t shied away from members of the X-Force, either, with Deadpool and Psylocke (along with Storm, Nightcrawler, and Wolverine) joining the main game while Cable tagged in via DLC.
The new X-Force characters are available for a limited time in Fortnite’s item shop–and for a temporary V-bucks price reduction–along with some interchangeable custom gear items.
Deadpool’s weekly challenges and accompanying skins can be completed through the remainder of the season, which was recently extended to run through May, and includes the ever popular Uncanny X-Force Vol 1 white-and-black digs.
