What IS the universe made of anyways?
We may all be stuck inside for the foreseeable future, but that doesn’t mean we can’t learn about the universe we live in. NOVA is offering up six different features on planets, space, space travel, and the universe at large.
Titles available include Apollo’s Daring Mission, Finding Life Beyond Earth, NOVA Wonders: What’s the Universe Made Of?, and others. All told, over a dozen hours of content is available absolutely free!
A word of warning though — the videos seem to be locked to the US region only — our editor in Canada was unable to access the site. Sorry Ev!
The documentaries are well-made, with wonderful production values, and are accessible to wannabe astronomers and veterans alike. There’s certainly worse ways to spend an afternoon.
