Many items cost north of $50 with featured items in the $150 range.
The Super Mario collection has been on the market for a week now and already Levi’s is selling out of some of its items.
The printed bandana, printed sling, and printed baseball hat are all now sold out. Not coincidentally, those items are $18, $25, and $30 respectively.
Featuring a Mario print decked out with Bowser, Goomba, Boo, Toad, Wario, Luigi, Lakitu, Wendy, and more, the accessories complement the as of yet unreleased trucker jacket, pullover, and jeans. It’s a print overload to rock all of those at once but having the collection to mix and match with other pieces is appealing.
More understated pieces exist as well. Levi’s® X Super Mario 501® ’93 Straight Men’s Jeans feature a medium wash and a coin jutting out of the interior pocket. Such a minor detail is sure to be noticed by fellow geeks but it’s subtle enough to be worn in a number of settings without judgment. The bright yellow Yoshi tote, meanwhile, is a statement piece that will surely be noticed.
Levi’s has also added a few Super Mario flourishes to their customized shirts and hoodies, allowing for limited customization on a few different backgrounds, joining some LGBTQ+ and animal print options.
There’s no word yet on when the remaining items in the collection will drop or if a restock of the now sold-out print items will come but we’ll keep watching. After all, everyone should be able to wear a Canadian tuxedo adorned in all things Mario.
