A 13 year old game still gets updates?!
In a long-running yearly tradition, Team Fortress 2 received its Halloween update today, appropriately subtitled Scream Fortress XII. The update brings with it a handful of new community-made maps (four to be exact), 22 new community-made cosmetic items, 19 community-created (seeing a pattern yet?) Unusual effects, and 15 new community-created War Paints.
Whew!
Valve clearly leaned heavily on the still surprisingly active user base for a bulk of this update, helping to keep the 13-year old game alive and kicking.
Along with the exciting updates, there are also a handful of bug fixes and balancing items; y’know, the boring yet necessary stuff. The entirety of the update can be found here.
No word if the Headless Horseless Horsemann will make a repeat appearance.
