After giving Monty Mole its Mario Kart racing debut the DK Crew is upping its representation with Funky Kong and Dixie Kong joining in.
Funky has been something of a mainstay since being an impossibly hard to unlock character in Mario Kart Wii. Dixie, meanwhile, is making her Mario Kart debut, though she was a racer in Diddy Kong Racing DS, which means she was a playable character in one of the better kart racers around.
The representation also includes a new Rambi inspired kart which looks appropriately angry to participate in the races.
The Diddy Kong Cup is underway now featuring the courses RMX Choco Island 1R, 3DS Toad Circuit R, and SNES Vanilla Lake 1R.
