A DLC pack millions (okay, 11) years in the making!
The Jurassic World pack for Minecraft is set to bring about some colossal changes — including the ability to craft and train your own dinosaurs, and a new quest to discover dinosaur DNA. In all, there are 60 new dinosaurs (some hybrids, ala the Indominus rex) and 21 player skins to get you into the mood to adventure. A free Blue Hoodie character creator item is also being released to coincide with the launch.
Scenes from the 2015 film are recreated in the DLC’s trailer–including the whopping Mosausaurus downing a great white–while vehicles important to the film including a helicopter, Gyrosphere, quads, and more are showcased.
Minecraft has crossed-over with a number of other brands including Skyrim, Halo, The Simpsons, Pirates of the Caribbean, and many others over the years. The Jurassic World DLC is available now for $7.99 USD.
