Excellent!
As the release of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time draws ever nearer a number of details have been revealed over the past week.
Above all other news, PocketGamer exclusively revealed the game will also be launching on Apple Arcade, though the port is being handled by Novarama instead of Soleil Game Studios themselves. The game appears largely the same as other versions though its combat is densely displayed on screen: There isn’t yet word if there will be options to re-configure the mobile controls to better see the action.
Additionally, an interview with Nintendo Everything director Hiroaki Matsui reveals one run through the game’s standard difficulty setting should be around 10 hours, though higher difficulties exist, and the game’s director envisions multiple runs through the storyline.
Finally, Limited Run Games is offering physical editions of the game as well, which you can pick up here.
Previous announcements have included news that the original voice actors are returning to finish the story from the series’ fifth season. Incidentally, all five seasons are now available on Amazon and Google Play stores.
Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time releases this Friday, August 21, 2020 on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Windows PC as well as on Apple Arcade.
