Who you gonna call?
To celebrate the best time of the year (Halloween, duh), Rocket League is unleashing a new Halloween mode upon the masses. Dubbed Haunted Hallows, a number of challenges will become available for completion, bringing with them some neat unlockables. Of particular note is the Ghostbusters tie-in, which will allow players to unlock cosmetics such as a Slimer antenna topper, Ghostbusters wheels, and a Mood Slime Boost (whatever that means). Golden Pumpkins are also up for grabs, which can be used for unlocked items from the Turbo, Nitro, and Vindicator series of cosmetics.
In addition, exclusive Ghostbusters items will be available in the Item Shop, and two new limited-time game modes are playable until the event ends: Haunted Heatseeker (which takes place in new map Haunted Urban Arena) and Spike Rush. The event is live now, and will go until November 2nd.
