Kisiwa is here!
The massively-multiplayer creature collector Temtem has hit another milestone, adding a new island named Kisiwa and a host of new creatures, with the update going live tomorrow.
The update will feature new story content revolving around Clan Belsoto, some 23 new monsters to be tamed, an increase to the level cap, the return of the chat, and the introduction of the club system.
The social features are rudimentary as yet, with the developers noting that clubs–a clan like system–aren’t integrated fully into the game’s world yet, instead offering “them as a social hub to be in constant contact with your friends in-game”. The chat, meanwhile, returns after a long absence, bringing with it a slew of safety features (including blocking) and the ability to whisper any user you come across.
Final forms of the game’s starters will be available as a result of the increased level cap, now sitting at level 58, which is sure to delight long-time players.
Temtem is still in early access and available only on PC. The developers have promised a price increase with each new update–it’ll now jump from $35 USD to $37.50–but those who buy-in now get all future updates for free. No final pricing or release date for the final product has been announced yet, and the game will release on consoles including the Switch.
