Rogue Monkey wants you to sign up for a newsletter.
The new mythical monster Zarude—first unveiled back in February–is slated for distribution in the near future.
The Pokemon Company announced that it’ll be distributed to those who sign up for their Pokemon Trainer Club newsletter. Zarude, a Dark/Grass type, will come at Level 60, sporting powerful moves like Power Whip and Snarl. Its ability, Leaf Guard, prevents status conditions in sunny weather.
Zarude will play a starring role in the next Pokemon movie, Secrets of the Jungle, next year. Fellow mythical Protagonist Ash Ketchum will meet Koko, a boy raised by the mythical Pokemon, including a special one referred to as Dada. A shiny Celebi will also feature in the film.
A major promotional push sees the monkey also featured in the new TCG set, Sword and Shield: Vivid Voltage, and the Pokemon Center online store has released a plush of the creature.
Canadian fans can now buy that plush directly from the Pokemon Center as they recently added Canadian distribution with a flat shipping fee of $10.
