Machina cards first debuted over a decade ago.
The newest structure deck for Yu-Gi-Oh (YGO) players and prospective players is Mechanized Madness, a modernized take on the Machina Mayhem structure deck of years gone by. Technology grows dated as soon as it rolls off the production line and it’s hard not to say that’s the case for many YGO cards in a game that has progressively become faster and more aggressive over the past decade.
Machina Gearframe and Machina Fortress return along with a pair of ultra rares–Machina Citadel and Machina Possesstorage–bringing their union style of equipping to a deck filled with high leveled monsters. Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju, Deskbots 001 and 003, and Limiter Removal highlight some of the non-Machina cards (and hint at potential synergy with Cyber Dragons).
This new structure deck aims to swarm the field to make way for the high level monsters lurking behind. The deck feels instantly playable in a way not all structure decks do with immediate aggressive options for new players and some deeper combos for veterans readily available.
