Fall has fallen
Fall is finally here, and with it comes a new Animal Crossing: New Horizons update! Some old friends from previous games make an appearance, along with some new face paint and eye color options! Let’s break it down:
An Old Friend Returns
Players of previous Animal Crossing titles may recognize the pumpkin-headed creature known as Jack. Well, he’s back! On Halloween (October 31st), Jack will make an appearance in the town square to help players celebrate the spookiest of spooky holidays. Players will also get a (pretty cool) portrait of Jack in their mailbox!
Face Paint! Spooky Eyes!
At last, additional skin and eye colors are available, along with fun costumes. The ability to change skin and eye colors is available for purchase from Nook Shopping, and new clothing items will be available throughout the month at the Able Sisters‘ shop. It is unknown whether the skin and eye colors will be available year-round, though.
Pumpkins n’ Candy
Lastly, pumpkins are now able to be grown! In addition, candy can be bought from the store, though you are limited to one per day. Come Halloween, the candy can be passed out to villagers. The pumpkins you grow and harvest can likewise be used to craft exclusive seasonal recipes, or just for decoration!
