The Pokemon Company are mixing it up for the rest of the month: instead of their usual practice of giving a multi-week window to catch oversized versions of a bunch of Pokemon they’re highlighting one, somewhat limited edition, Pokemon each week.
Gigantamax Pikachu, Eevee, and Meowth will be appearing in the Max Raid Battles–in that order–for the next three weeks. Pikachu’s event is already live, with Eevee’s starting on the 18th and Meowth’s starting on the 25th.
These versions of the iconic monsters have, up until now, been somewhat limited: In order to get either Pikachu or Eevee variant you needed to have save data for Let’s Go Eevee or Let’s Go Pikachu and even then you were limited to one per system. Similarly, Gigantamax Meowth was a timed exclusive early in the game’s release that’s getting another distribution.
The oversized mouse, stretchy cat, and fluffy fox-thing will each be available for one week only.
