Who still uses Internet Explorer 11 anyways?
Only about 1.3% of users accessing the internet still use Internet Explorer in some form, and Microsoft is ready to change that — by reducing it to 0%.
Microsoft announced yesterday that Microsoft Teams will no longer work in IE11, as of November 30, 2020, with all other Office 365 apps losing support by August 17, 2021. The now 7 year-old browser hasn’t changed much since it was released, aside from some bug fixes and minor updates, but it’s time to move on. In addition, Microsoft Edge legacy (which was last updated 2 years ago) will be phased out by March 9, 2021.
And, hey, if you’re inexplicably still using IE11, why not make the upgrade to Opera?
