Stock up on plush!
The official Pokemon online store now ships to Canada. The store is home to figures, stuffed animals, trading card sets, clothing, and home decor.
Popular items such as the “An Afternoon with Eevee” line of figures–featuring each of its evolutions in assorted scenes–and holiday-themed items were, until now, effectively unavailable in Canada, with premium re-sellers the only reliable way to access the collectibles.
Some Pokemon plush have been available for purchase at retailers such as Walmart and Toys ‘R Us averaging $30 CAD for 8″ plush. Comparable items sell for half that price through the Pokemon Center.
The website is offering a special promotion to Canadian customers who spend over $20: A “special delivery” Pikachu trading card will be packed in with qualified shipments. The card’s “happy delivery” ability allows the player to search the deck for an item card and add it to their hand.
Shipping is a standard rate of $10 CAD per order and it can include as many items as you like.
Christmas ornaments, stockings, ugly Christmas sweaters, and themed plush round out the latest collection available.
