Busy week for the streamer.
Pokemon TV has once again added to its lineup with a flurry of announcements this past week.
The service began by adding Season 5, the Master Quest arc, that sees frantic battles against Team Rocket, a red Gyarados, a Lugia, and the Silver Conference championship. The season wraps the Johto saga and means all of the first five seasons are available on Pokemon TV along with the recent seasons taking place in Alola.
Then, The Pokemon Company announced it’d be expanding its Twitch offerings to include more tournament moments, episodes of the series, and even Pokemon movies. A schedule is not yet posted and it’s unclear how regular the weekly streams will be moving forward.
The move to highlight top tournament moments expands to Pokemon TV proper, too, as an app re-design declutters the user interface while promoting the inclusion of competitive Pokemon play across TCG and video games. For now, the section includes the 2019 Pokemon Championships, both regional and world, and it seems apparent more years of competitive footage will be added in the coming months.
